Basically,
Basically, I am totally broke on all my characters, none of them are really setup to farm, and I am desperately in need of money.
I'm just thinking about making a new character, but I'm not sure what kind. I just need one that can farm the most and best things, pretty easily.
Right now i have a ele (doesn't have the right skills or armor+wep) a rit (perfectly fine but idk where to farm and everywhere i try doesn't work) and a dervish (not sure what i can do with 130hp its setup but not sure what greens are easy and profitable or were to farm)
so help me out, please!

Ele FTW
I belive thate you should use your ele for farming. Althoghe there has been recent nurfing most of the builds still work fine. Type into youtube.com Elementalist (spell check) Farming and there should be plenty of ideas on how to farm.
Because u have a Dev i would recomend trying to make some money by running ppl. Forge running is vry profitable and not at all hard once u know what to do.
Another way is to Farm IDS (icy dragon swords) They go for about 15-20k And they are easy to farm on a Dev. Type in IDS guild wars farming on to Youtube and you should be given a choice on vidieos to watch. You can farm them on a Derv a monk or a ele farm them on your derv because they are the easiest to farm.
Pm me ingame if u have any questions. Or if you need a guild my guild is high on all types of farming.
Rothan Celt is my Char name.
Good luck and Have fun

Ditto to the IDS from Rothan, i farm those with my ele, fairly easy, got 3 so far in about 4-5 runs.
As Antithesis says, search, 330HP Rit farm is meant to be v.good (not done one myself so cant comment), Ele Farms all over the place (raptor farming in HM etc). Read the sticky on all solo farms is a good starter.
In addition if you must have a new char, go for a Ranger is a good bet, or a warrior IMO. My ranger is my oldest/longest played char by far and I wouldnt be without him, lots of farms there again.
And lastly, just play and pick up items and sell them. One of my guildies is sitting on about 110k just from playing through NF to Gate of Pain, done little to no farming but has got all that saved up. Just in case you dont know/dont believe, ID white items too, can double the price of some of them and for me works out better in the long run.
GL!

800k??? OK are you just like 100% more dedicated to it than me or what? I spent about 4-5hrs running it, mostly succesful runs, sold on the bunnies and choc eggs but didnt get anywhere near that type of cash.
Am I missing something? Id love if you could PM me with more info if you have it or is it just repetition?

i farm on the side. try playing that game, after getting vanq / guardian titles, i'm ok for money, farming is not necessarily the best way to make money, but like Kotte said, it's really easy to make money during event weekends.

To make 800k you'd have to farm ALL WEEKEND. Yeah, no thanks, i'd rather go outside and have a life imo.

He didn't farm all weekend. With event items, it is absurdly easy to make large quantities of gold.

Once i started vanquishing i found that i was set for a long time. Perf mods and weps are just one of the many things that are found. Along with tomes and so forth.

Well my dervish is in nightfall, and pretty far but kinda stuck on this mission (im not even sure if i have to do it)
my ele has completed prophecies (so anything farming there would be nice)
my rit has completed factions (so anything farming there would be nice)
Someone just told me about treasure chest farming, so i might try that out.

Make a monk... they are good.
You can pretty much get into any group you want with a monk and go farm stuff.
Another viable option is make a Pvp character and go run around in RA and farm balth faction. Then take that faction and trade it in for some Z-keys. Sell those Z-keys for 3k each and gain a profit that way.
Thank A-net for Z-keys... for reals!

Do it. Easiest $ you'll ever make, you don't even need keys.
There's a list of all of them with locations. Just don't do it more than once every 4-6 weeks per character.http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Treasure
If you've finished prophecies, I'm assuming you have the desert open to you - farm the griffons for iridescent griffon wings...salvage into feathers and sell feathers at 7k per stack. That is an ursan-made cottage industry...everyone wants con sets and u need feathers to produce one of the components (same with iron and dust - but they are not as lucrative)...gl

Spamadan, LA, TOA, etc...i always see WTB feathers at 7k/stack
I'm not, nor have I ever been an ele so I don't know the builds. These are farmed in NM, so I suppose any of the ele solo's listed here should work.
